2026 PGA Tour Signature Events History: Dates, Prize Money, Purse, Payouts.
PGA Tour designated events, now officially named Signature Events, are 8 elite tournaments throughout the year featuring the best players competing for increased prize money.PGA Tour Signature Events for the 2026 season are limited-field tournaments with a $20 million purse and 700 FedExCup points to the winner. In 2023, they were referred to as designated events.The Sentry was not contested in 2026, making the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am the season’s first Signature Event. It included PGA Tour winners from the previous calendar year as well as top players from recent FedExCup standings.
The three player-hosted invitationals (The Genesis Invitational, Arnold Palmer Invitational, and the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday) feature a 36-hole cut to the top 50 and ties plus any player within 10 shots of the lead. They also include a redistribution of prize money that allocates 20% to the winner ($4 million).The remaining Signature Events have no cut and allocate 18% to the winner ($3.6 million).
