The 33-year-old claimed his fourth PGA Tour title — and first since 2024 — with a clutch birdie on the 72nd hole and a par on the second playoff hole to defeat Ryan Gerard.
With the victory, Poston took home the $4,000,000 first-place prize.

The prize money for 2026’s edition of The Memorial Tournament will be same that what Scheffler took home after triumph last year.
The total purse for last year’s iteration was a record $12 million in 2022, now boosted to $20 million for 2026.
This year the Memorial Tournament, the first designated PGA Tour event since the PGA Championship in mid-May, has a $20 million purse (one of the PGA’s biggest), with the winner receiving $4 million.
