We're about six weeks out from the beginning of the 2025-26 men's college basketball season, so let's take a look at the end of it: the 2026 men's NCAA tournament.

March Madness 2026 begins with First Four games Tuesday, March 17-18, in Dayton, Ohio, and ends with the Final Four on April 4 and 6 in Indianapolis.

The cities for the first and second rounds of the tournament are: Buffalo, New York; Greenville, South Carolina; Oklahoma City; Portland; Tampa; Philadelphia; San Diego; and St. Louis, Missouri. 

The regional semifinals (Sweet 16) and finals (Elite Eight) will take place in Houston (South); San Jose, California (West); Chicago (Midwest); and Washington, D.C. (East).

When is the 2026 NCAA Selection Show? 

The NCAA men's tournament field consists of 68 teams. The 32 automatic bids and 36 at-large bids will be revealed on March 15 at 6 p.m. ET on CBS.
