The Midwest’s largest city, the home of Six-Time NBA Champions Chicago Bulls, will play host to the 18 schools and their fanbases as the teams battle to determine the conference’s tournament victor.



The Big Ten Tournament champion secures an automatic bid into the 68-team field for the 2025 NCAA Tournament, which includes 32 automatic qualifiers and 36 at-large bids. The full NCAA Tournament field will be finalized on Sunday, March 17, and the bracket will be revealed during the March Madness Selection Show on CBS.


For the second time in as many seasons, Purdue is the No. 1 seed in the Big Ten Tournament, the 2025 version of which begins Wednesday at the Target Center in Minneapolis.


The top 10 seeds in the conference receive a first-round bye, while the top four seeds get to bypass the first two rounds.

The conference’s bottom four teams will get things started with a pair of games on Wednesday, followed by winner teams moves on Thursday. The top four seeds will all get byes into the quarterfinals on Friday..

The 28th edition of Big Ten Men’s Basketball Tournament is schedule for March 13 to March 17, 2025.

The 2024 Big Ten Tournament Championship game will take place on Sunday, March 17 and will Air Live on CBS.

For the first time, Target Center in Minneapolis will host the Big Ten tournament. It’s only the third time the tournament has not been played in either Chicago or Indianapolis.

The 2025 Big Ten Basketball Tournament will be carried on a variety of networks and platforms. All three first-round games will be streamed exclusively on Peacock, NBC's subscription streaming platform. The Big Ten Network will televise the second-round and quarterfinals games, while CBS will handle the semifinals and championship game.
