The world's best women's basketball teams will converge in Berlin, Germany, from 4-13 September in pursuit of one goal: lifting the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2026 trophy.

This year's edition of the quadrennial global basketball tournament features an expanded pool of 16 teams, up from 12 in Sydney, Australia, four years ago.

The United States of America enters the tournament as reigning champions, having defeated the People's Republic of China 83-61 at the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2022.
