Ryder Cup 2025 leaderboard: Updated results, latest standings from USA vs. Europe at Bethpage Black

The Ryder Cup is one of golf’s most competitive events, and the 2025 edition comes to New York.

Europe captured the 45th Ryder Cup on Sunday at Bethpage Black, edging the United States 15–13 in a thriller that came down to the final singles matches.

The Europeans dominated the first two days, building a record seven-point lead heading into Sunday. The U.S. mounted a furious charge in singles, threatening the largest comeback in event history, but fell just short. It was Europe’s first road victory since the legendary 2012 Medinah comeback.

In the Ryder Cup, there are 28 total matches over three days, including team matches and single events. Teams earn a point by winning a match and half-a-point for matches that end in ties.

As the defending champion, Europe needs 14 points to retain the cup, with the 2023 result serving as a tiebreaker. Team USA must earn 14.5 points to reclaim the Ryder Cup.
