— FOX Sports and INDYCAR have announced the race broadcast start times for the 2026 NTT INDYCAR SERIES TV schedule.
— With its new exclusive media rights deal for the next several years with Fox now in place, IndyCar also announced its full 2026 schedule on Thursday, more than three months ahead of schedule. The calendar, which includes a full slate of network TV windows on FOX, continues the trend of 17 points-paying races.
The IndyCar Series will once again begin the 2026 season with the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg on Sunday, March 2.
The inaugural Grand Prix of Arlington is set for Sunday, March 15, with a 30-minute prerace beginning at 12:30 pm.
The NTT INDYCAR SERIES’ return to Canada for the debut of the Streets of Markham layout and the Ontario Honda Dealers Indy at Markham at noon Sunday, Aug. 16.
The return of the popular doubleheader at the historic Milwaukee Mile at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29 and 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 30.
The crowning of the 2026 NTT INDYCAR SERIES champion and a Labor Day weekend return to WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. Coverage of the season finale begins with a prerace show at 2:30 p.m. Sunday Sept. 6.
When is the 2026 Indy 500.?
The 110th running of the Indianapolis 500 is set for Sunday, May 24, 2026.
Live coverage of The Greatest Spectacle in Racing will be underway at 10:00 a.m. ET on FOX.
Practice sessions will be held on May 12, 13, 14 and 15 before qualifying on May 16 and 17 May. After that, another practice will be on May 19 before Carb Day on Friday, May 22.

You would hope that Sky will extend its rights to show the series again taking the local broadcast.
As part of an unprecedented increase in exposure for the IndyCar Series, every race for the 2026 season will air on FOX and also be available on the FOX Sports app, with FOX Deportes carrying exclusive Spanish-language television coverage.
A five-hour window on FOX will be part of the extensive coverage on race day of the Indy 500.
All practice and qualifying sessions for the IndyCar Series will air on FS1 and FS2. The historic deal also includes the majority of Indy NXT races being aired on FS1, with FS2 providing supplemental coverage of additional races.
