The Georgia Bulldogs play in their first road game of the 2025 college football season at Neyland Stadium against the Tennessee Volunteers. No. 3 Georgia has defeated No. 15 Tennessee eight consecutive times in the series, but the 2025 edition of Georgia-Tennessee will be a new chapter in the series.
"They've all been really, really tough physical games," Georgia coach Kirby Smart said about Georgia's win streak against Tennessee. "I think being at home usually helps either team in terms of road versus home, but I don't know that you can attribute it to anything because this year has nothing to do with previous years."
Georgia is 2-0 and did not look all that impressive last week against the Austin Peay Governors. Tennessee is also 2-0 and earned a strong 45-26 win over Syracuse in Week 1. However, the Georgia-Tennessee game will represent the biggest test to date for both teams.
