The Georgia Bulldogs play in their first road game of the 2025 college football season at Neyland Stadium against the Tennessee Volunteers. No. 3 Georgia has defeated No. 15 Tennessee eight consecutive times in the series, but the 2025 edition of Georgia-Tennessee will be a new chapter in the series.

"They've all been really, really tough physical games," Georgia coach Kirby Smart said about Georgia's win streak against Tennessee. "I think being at home usually helps either team in terms of road versus home, but I don't know that you can attribute it to anything because this year has nothing to do with previous years."

Georgia is 2-0 and did not look all that impressive last week against the Austin Peay Governors. Tennessee is also 2-0 and earned a strong 45-26 win over Syracuse in Week 1. However, the Georgia-Tennessee game will represent the biggest test to date for both teams.

Georgia football vs Tennessee predictions, picks:

Bookies.com: Bet Tennessee with the points vs Georgia

Bill Speros writes: "Tennessee hung a 72-burger on East Tennessee Saturday. Georgia took it easier on Austin Peay. This is when CBS really starts to feel the loss of the SEC. A Tennessee upset would put the Vols in the subject line of the playoff discussion. Georgia remains the closest program to a college football dynasty in this era. Asking the Dawgs to cover a 7-point line at Neyland Stadium is something else entirely."

Dimers.com: Georgia 27, Tennessee 26

It writes: "After extensive simulations, our model gives Georgia a win probability of 52%, while Tennessee has a win probability of 48%."

ESPN: Tennessee has a 51.5% chance to defeat Georgia on Saturday

The site gives the Bulldogs a 48.5% shot at winning the college football Week 3 game over the Volunteers on Sept. 13.

Sporting News: Georgia 27, Tennessee 20

Bill Bender writes: "Will the Vols finally knock off the Bulldogs? Georgia has dominated this series under Kirby Smart, and Gunner Stockton has been turnover-free through two starts. Tennessee quarterback Joey Aguilar will attack a Georgia defense that has a nasty look again. Georgia has won the last four meetings at Neyland Stadium by an average of 30.5 points. Imagine the celebration if the Vols can pull this off."

UGA Wire: Georgia 27, Tennessee 21

James Morgan writes: "Georgia and Tennessee both have teams capable of making a College Football Playoff run. Tennessee quarterback Joey Aguilar looks better than Nico Iamaleava did for the Vols, but I just can't predict Tennessee to beat Georgia with the way the series has gone in recent seasons. This is a golden opportunity for Tennessee with it being Gunner S
