Khalil Mack injury update: Chargers star leaves ‘MNF’ game with elbow injury vs Raiders
Khalil Mack’s return to Vegas didn’t go the way anyone expected.
The Chargers’ star pass rusher, who once terrorized quarterbacks for the Raiders back in the Oakland days, left Monday night’s game against his old franchise with an elbow injury. It happened late in the first quarter when his arm bent awkwardly as he tried to make a tackle. Mack headed straight to the medical tent, then to the locker room.
By the second quarter, Mack was back on the sideline—but his right arm was in a sling. The Chargers officially ruled him out not long after.
The timing couldn’t be worse for Los Angeles. Mack was expected to anchor the pass rush this season, especially with Joey Bosa gone after the offseason shake-up. Losing him for any stretch of time would be a serious blow to a defense that had been one of the bright spots early in 2025.
