Berlin Marathon 2025: Full Results, times from Men’s, Women’s, & Wheelchair races Winners List

The 51st running of the BMW Berlin-Marathon is set to take place on Sunday, Sept. 21, there are 50,000 participants throughout the course of the race day in a number of divisions in German Capital. 

Berlin Marathon is one of the seven Abbott World Marathon Majors and known as one of the fastest as well Longest marathons in the world.

In the Men’s Elite Division, Kenyan' Sabastian Sawe won the Berlin Marathon 2025 for the first time, he is in the top of in the field. Sawe also won the Valencia marathon in 2024 and clocked a 2:02:05. Closest behind Sawe is Tanzanian runner Gabriel Geay who was the runner up in the Valencia marathon in 2022. Geay sits second on the qualifying list with a 2:03:00. 

In the Women’s Elite Division, Kenyan runner Rosemary Wanjiru won the 2025 Berlin Marathon, She is in the top of the field on the qualifying list. The runner up in the 2024 Tokyo marathon clocked a personal best of 2:16:14. Wanjiru is not the only runner to watch in the women’s division as Ethiopian runner Degitu Azimeraw is close behind qualifying with a 2:17:58.

When is the Berlin Marathon 2025.?

The 2025 Berlin Marathon is the 51st edition of this annual race, and is scheduled to be held on Sunday, Sept. 21. More than 50,000 runners are expected to take part in this year's event.
