We saw history unfold the last time an NBA Finals series went to 7 games. The year was 2016, Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors had just become the winningest team in NBA regular season history with a 73-9 record. It seemed as though LeBron James and his Cleveland Cavaliers stood no chance against this force of nature.
