The Players Championship 2025 final round tee times, pairings, groups
The PGA Tour is moving up Sunday's final round start times for The Players Championship due to expected severe weather.
Golfers will tee off in threesomes between 8 a.m. and 10:01 a.m. Sunday, using both the No. 1 and No. 10 tees. Golf Channel will be on the air from 10 a.m. and NBC will take over at noon.
Forecasters expect thunderstorms to arrive for the final round at The Players Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass, likely during the afternoon hours, although some chance of rain exists before then.
PGA Tour meteorologist Wade Stettner on Saturday predicted a 70 percent change of thunderstorms arriving Sunday, most likely between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. The storms could be severe, and winds even ahead of the storms are expected to gust to near 30 miles per hour.
