The GameAbove Sports Bowl is a newly sponsered post-season college football bowl game. The bowl was previously known as the Quick Lane Bowl since 2014.
This will be the fourth all-time meeting between Pitt (7-5) and Toledo (7-5). The GameAbove Sports Bowl marks the first postseason encounter between the schools.
The Panthers and Rockets last met in 2006, a 45-3 Pitt win at the former Heinz Field. Pitt leads the all-time series, 2-1.
