With their season on the line, head coach Corey Mace trusted his defence — and it paid off.

After a late stop, Trevor Harris led a clutch 74-yard drive, finishing with a three-yard touchdown to Tommy Nield with 11 seconds left to lift the Roughriders past the B.C. Lions 24–21 in the West Final.

Harris threw for 305 yards and two TDs, A.J. Ouellette ran for 113 yards, and the Riders’ defence held off Nathan Rourke (290 yards, two rushing TDs) when it mattered most.
After 12 long years, Rider Nation is Winnipeg-bound for the Grey Cup.

🏈 East Final: Alouettes Punch Ticket to Grey Cup on Maltos Diaz’s Walk-Off Kick

Jose Maltos Diaz nailed a 45-yard field goal at the buzzer to give the Montreal Alouettes a thrilling 19–16 win over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the East Final.

Davis Alexander stayed perfect as a CFL starter (13–0), throwing for 210 yards and a TD, while Tyler Snead scored the Alouettes’ lone major.

Bo Levi Mitchell and the Ticats pushed hard, but Montreal’s poise down the stretch proved the difference.
