As the dust settles around the latest slate of Week 5 games on Saturday, let's look ahead to the next AP top 25 college football rankings

College football rankings for week 6 of the 2025 season have been released, and the Alabama Crimson Tide have taken over the top spot in the AP Poll.
Ohio State stayed at No. 1 in the AP college football poll after beating Washington, though their lead over No. 2 Oregon narrowed. Oregon jumped up with a two-overtime win at Penn State, its highest ranking since last year.
Miami dropped to No. 3 after a bye week. Mississippi rose to No. 4 — its best spot since 2015 — after beating LSU, which fell to No. 13. Oklahoma stayed at No. 5.
Alabama reentered the top 10, and Virginia made the Top 25 for the first time in six years.
