Min Yoongi: BTS Star Suga Is Now Global Ambassador Of NBA: The South Korean rapper, songwriter, producer, and BTS star SUGA has been named an NBA Ambassador, according to the National Basketball Association and BIGHIT MUSIC, the industry-leading record company behind the 21st century pop idols BTS.
SUGA will interact with NBA fans all across the world as an NBA Ambassador for the duration of the 2022–23 NBA season and beyond. SUGA, a devoted NBA fan, will take part in a number of league initiatives that will be highlighted on the NBA's and his own social media platforms. These initiatives include going to NBA games and events in the United States and Asia as well as taking part in the league's marketing campaigns.

The NBA will also be present throughout SUGA's first solo world tour, working with the singer-songwriter to promote a few of her shows in honour of the release of her debut solo album, D-DAY. SUGA has included basketball in a number of BTS endeavours, most notably in the music video for the group's worldwide hit "Dynamite," which gave them their first No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 chart appearance in 2020.
He further said, “It is personally a great honour as I have loved basketball since I was young. Stay tuned for more to come with the NBA." The clip also features footage of Suga at NBA games, as well as him taking pictures with different players.
“Music and basketball have been shared passions of mine since my youth, and it’s a dream to be named an NBA Ambassador,” Suga said in a press release, per the official NBA website. “I’m excited to formalise my relationship with the NBA, and I can’t wait to share some exciting collaborations I have planned with the league over the coming months.”
