Bruno Fernandes scored twice to send Portugal through to the knockout stages from Group H with a game to spare after beating Uruguay 2-0..

Previously, Fernando Santos’ side took their first win towards the knockout stage by beating Ghana 3-2 on, after Uruguay had been held to a goalless draw by South Korea.
