Ronaldo makes World Cup history, Portugal thrash Ghana

FIFA World Cup 2022: Portugal, Ronaldo becomes the first man to score in five World Cups with a victory over Ghana.






Cristiano Ronaldo reached the historic milestone of becoming the first man to score in five World Cup finals with a penalty against Ghana.



Eight minutes later, Ghana's Andre-Ayew tied the score, but Portugal's Joao-Felix reclaimed the lead in the 78th minute and Rafael-Leao added a third. In the 89th, Osman-Bukari cut Ghana's deficit.

The Euro 2016 champions Cristiano Ronaldo' Now have leveled with Diego Maradona, Rivaldo and Rudi Voller on the all-time top goalscorers' list, but still shy of Miroslav Klose's tally so far Unreachable tally of 16 scores.

In the other Group H match, South Korea and Uruguay drew 0-0.
