WWE Official: WWE has confirmed that the next year WrestleMania 36 will take place at Raymond James Stadium, home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, in Tampa Bay, Florida, on Sunday, April 5, 2020, earlier today during a press conference at the stadium.
In the Official WWE 2020 WrestleMania 36 logo has a pirate theme, similar to the logo for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers NFL football team. Pirates are a big part of the culture in the city, which hosts the annual Gasparilla Pirate Festival.
For 10 years, the Tampa Bay Sports Commission’s indefatigable executive director couldn’t quite snag a WrestleMania. Until now: Rob Higgins said.

The press conference opened with WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan. Other Superstars featured were Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, Titus O'Neil, Roman Reigns, Charlotte Flair, Natalya and WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Sasha Banks & Bayley. WWE's Executive Vice President of Special Events, John Saboor, hosted the event along with Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn, Hillsborough County Commissioner Ken Hagan and other locals responsible for helping to make the event happen.
