For the fifth time in seven years, Tadej Pogačar of Slovenia has been crowned champion of the 2026 Tour de France.
The 27-year-old UAE Team Emirates-XRG rider crossed the line on Paris' Champs-Elysees in the peloton, to join Jacques Anquetil, Eddy Merckx, Bernard Hinault and Miguel Indurain as the endurance event's most successful male riders.
Now, The Slovenian won his Fifth Tour de France following his victories in 2020, 2021, 2024, 2025 and 2026 title. He has now successfully reclaimed the title from rival Jonas Vingegaard, the 2022 and 2023 champion.
The victory also marks another milestone in Pogacar's remarkable career, taking his professional win tally to 127 while adding yet another prestigious title to a collection that already includes the Giro d'Italia, Tour of Flanders, Milan-San Remo, Road World Championships, Liege-Bastogne-Liege, and Giro di Lombardia.
