The 2026 CFL Preseason is set to kick off on Monday, May 18, with nine games scheduled across two weeks. Fans can catch all the action through a combination of CFL+, TSN, and RDS.

The Canadian Football League unveiled its schedule for the 2026 season on Thursday after weeks of delays and fan complaints, boasting a calendar that features fewer short turnarounds for players and more opportunities for families to attend games.

The 2026 preseason takes the league beyond its traditional markets, strengthening regional fan connections across Canada. 

The Saskatchewan Roughriders will host a preseason game in Saskatoon for the first time since 1991, facing the Winnipeg Blue Bombers at the University of Saskatchewan. 

The BC Lions will once again travel to Vancouver Island, hosting the Edmonton Elks in Langford at Starlight Stadium. 

Meanwhile, the Toronto Argonauts continue their tradition of finishing preseason play in Guelph, hosting the Hamilton Tiger-Cats at Alumni Stadium for the fifth consecutive year. 

The opening weeks of the CFL 2026 regular season bring immediate intrigue. Week 1 features matchups between Montreal–Hamilton, Winnipeg–Calgary, and Edmonton–Ottawa.

In the U.S., select games will air exclusively on CBS Sports Network with the remaining contests available live and on-demand for a 48-hour window via the league’s free online streaming platform, CFL+. Viewers outside of North America will also be able to tune in on CFL+., visit CFL.ca.
