TOUR Championship field 2024: How they will begin with 'FedExCup Starting Strokes' Bonus, Prize Money Payout






The 18th season of FedExCup Playoffs come to a close this week with the TOUR Championship at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia, where the winner takes home $25 million bonus money.

That’s an increase of $7 million from a year ago. In 2019, the bonus prize money was $15 million.


Scroll below for the field list as of Sunday, Aug. 25. who made the top 30 in the FedExCup standings. Qualifying for the TOUR Championship carries a two-year exemption on PGA TOUR 2024 season.

It also brings an invitation to the 2024 Masters and traditionally has carried exemptions into the U.S. Open and The Open.

The FedExCup champion receives a five-year TOUR exemption.


 Rory McIlroy became the first three-time winner of the FedEx Cup when he rallied from six shots back a year ago to track down Scottie Scheffler.

FedEx Cup Playoffs: purse, prize money payout, Bonus at the 2024 Tour Championship




The winner of the Tour Championship is declared the FedEx Cup champion and takes home the first-place prize of $25 million in bonus money, Last year, it was 18 million bonus money.

The runner-up gets $12.5 million (Last year $6.5M), with third place earning 7.4 million  (Last year $5 million), all the way down to 30th place, which is Guaranteed for $550,000.

Last year, Victor Hovland won the preceding BMW Championship before continuing his rich vein of form to win the Tour Championship, becoming just the fourth European to claim the end-of-season crown, and with it an $18 million fortune.
