AFC Champions League 2023-24 Group Stage Draw: Mumbai City grouped alongside Neymar’s Al Hilal

Al Nassr, led by Cristiano Ronaldo, was assigned to Group E following the AFC Champions League 2023/24 draw event held in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday.

Al Nassr’s consortium also includes FC Istiklol, Al Duhail SC, and Persepolis FC. In Group D, Mumbai City FC will compete against Al Hilal SFC, FC Nassaji Mazandaran, and Navbahor.

The Islanders, the lone team representing India, may bring in Neymar Jr., who recently joined Al Nassr.

Al Nassr, the team owned by Cristiano Ronaldo, was assigned to Group E following the AFC Champions League draw event held in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday.

Al Nassr’s consortium also includes FC Istiklol, Al Duhail SC, and Persepolis FC. Saudi Arabia is one of the four countries sending the most ambassadors to the AFC Champions League this season.

Japan, South Korea, and Uzbekistan are the other three countries that have four clubs each.

What are the 2023-24 AFC Champions League Schedule Dates.

While the AFC are yet to release the schedule of the AFC Champions League group games, the tentative dates for when the matches will happen has already been released.

The first set of group games will take place from September 11-September 20. The second matchday takes place on October 2-October 4, with the third matchday on October 23-October 25.

There are two matchdays for group games in November (November 6-November 8) and (November 27-November 29). The final set of group games in matchday 6 will take place on December 4-December 6 and December 12-December 13.

The knockout rounds will commence on Feb. 12 with the final, played between the best club from their respective sides of the continent, to be held over two home-and-away legs on May 11 and 18.
