The Cleveland Cavaliers were crowned champions of the NBA 2K24 Summer League in Las Vegas after defeating the Houston Rockets, 99-78, at Thomas & Mack Center on Monday.

The Cavaliers started the game on fire and routed the Rockets in the first quarter by a 28-14 score, establishing a lead they’d never relinquish and setting the tone for the rest of the game.

Houston responded with a 30-23 score in the second quarter, the Cavaliers pulled away for good in the third with a 28-15 score, making it difficult for Houston to erase the deficit and ultimately lifting the Cavaliers to a much-deserved victory and league title.
