Man City wins First Champions League Title 2023, Complete Treble

UCL Final 2023: Man City beats Inter Milan 1-0 to win first Champions League title, complete treble.

Manchester City defeated Inter Milan 1-0 on Saturday in Istanbul's Ataturk Olimpiyat Stadium to claim the Champions League trophy for the first time.

The Premier League and FA Cup winners completed a trifecta of championships this year with a goal from Rodri in the 68th minute.

While it is the first time City has won the premier club championship in European football, Pep Guardiola has won the title three times as a manager.

Even though inspirational midfielder Kevin De Bruyne suffered an injury in the first half, City won.

15 years after Abu Dhabi's ruling family converted it into one of the wealthiest clubs in the world, the triumph means the club finally accomplished its goal of reaching the pinnacle of European football.

Manchester City After winning the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League, City emulated Manchester United's triple trophy haul in 1999 as they became only the second English club to ever win the Treble.

Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the club's owner, was present for the triumph. In the previous fifteen years, he had only twice seen his team live.

Romelu Lukaku had a chance to score a last-second equaliser, but his header from roughly four yards out went straight at Ederson.

Rodri gathered Bernardo Silva's cutback and blasted the ball through the congested penalty area to give City the victory.

Within minutes following that goal, Federico Dimarco nearly tied the game for Inter when he narrowly missed the bar from close range.

He then appeared to be turning in the redirected attempt until his shot was blocked by teammate Lukaku.
