Evans Chebet of Kenya had a comfortable lead in the men's race before coming in first across the finish line at 2:08:41.
It was Lokedi’s first-ever marathon and she finished in 2:23.23 — just ahead of Lonah Chemtai Salpeter of Israel, just finished 50 seconds off the course.
