WNBA Playoffs 2022: Connecticut Sun took revenge by beating Chicago rally to advance to WNBA Finals.
- In their WNBA Playoffs semifinal matchup with Chicago, the Connecticut Sun made no secret of their desire for retribution, especially after the Sky eliminated them from the semifinals while en route to the title in 2021.
As Jonquel Jones had 15 points and 10 rebounds and the Sun overcame an 11-point deficit in the fourth quarter to defeat the Sky 72-63 on Thursday night in the pivotal fifth game, all of the Sun's players scored in double digits. With 4:46 left, the Sun overcame a 63-54 deficit by scoring the final 18 points.
For the WNBA championship title, Connecticut will play the top-seeded Las Vegas Aces in WNBA Finals 2022. On Sunday in Las Vegas, the series' opening game will be played.

In the fourth quarter, Connecticut beat Chicago 25-5 after a terrible third quarter in which it scored just eight points and committed seven turnovers, leads the Suns to 2022 WNBA Finals for the third time in franchise history.
