Trey Mullinax beat Kevin Streelman by a stroke in final hole to win Barbasol Championship 2022 title, prize money, payout.

Trey Mullinax defeated Kevin Streelman by one stroke to capture the rain-delayed Barbasol Championship for his maiden PGA Tour victory. Mullinax holed a 15-foot putt from the edge of the 18th green.

The 30-year-old Mullinax screamed and fist-pumped in jubilation after the game-changing putt. He completed 33 holes on Sunday, shooting a 5-under 67 in the third round that was postponed before shooting 66 to finish at 25-under 263.

When Streelman's 9-foot birdie putt rolled right, his attempt to force a playoff was unsuccessful. He made do with a par and a 67.

Mark Hubbard was third at 22 under after a 65. Hurly Long (71) was 21 under.

In the 2022 British Open at St. Andrews, which begins on Thursday, Mullinax won the final slot.

It was the sixth time in a row that the Barbasol Championship was decided by one shot or a playoff.

The 30-year-old shot a 6-under 66 on Sunday With a birdie on the 72nd hole, Trey Mullinax won for the first time on the PGA Tour. Mullinax earns the $666,000 prize money payout from a purse of $3.7 million.
