The LIV Golf Invitational Series has revealed plans for a 14 events set to be played in seven countries with $405 million in prize purses, featuring 48 contracted players on 12 “established team franchises” and a system of promotion and relegation through its series of Asian Tour events.

LIV Golf Investments has invested $300 million into the Asian Tour for "International Series" events, including the 48-man field, no-cut competitions with a total prize pool of $25 million US. Players might earn their way into the LIV Golf League through their performance in these Asian Tour events, while those that finish toward the bottom of LIV Golf events would be replaced.
