Blue Bombers win back-to-back title of 108th Grey Cup 2021 Champs

With his remarkable performance showed in 108th edition of Grey Cup, why he was the CFL's outstanding player this season, Winnipeg quarterback Zach Collaros named game's most valuable player.


Collaros' 13-yard touchdown strike to Darvin Adams in overtime earned the Winnipeg Blue Bombers a thrilling 33-25 Grey Cup 2021 win over the hometown Hamilton Tiger-Cats on a windy Sunday night.

After hitting Adams to cap the opening possession of the extra session, Collaros found Rasheed Bailey for the two-point convert.


Kyrie Wilson cemented Winnipeg's second straight Grey Cup victory by intercepting Hamilton's Jeremiah Masoli, whose pass deflected off two Bombers defenders before it got to Wilson.


 2021 Grey Cup MVP named Zach Collaros made 21 of 32 passes for 240 yards with a pair of touchdowns and interceptions. 

Canadian Most Valuable player named Nic Demski had 4 catches for 27 yards & scored a touchdown in the 4th quarter



They are now back-to-back Grey Cup champions, the third time in team history, after consecutive wins over the Tiger-Cats in the Canadian Football League championship game.

In fact, in the previous two occasions where the Bombers won back-to-back Grey Cups, the victories were also against the Ticats, in 1958-59 and 1961-62.



Winnipeg becomes the first CFL team to win consecutive Grey Cups since Montreal Alouettes (2009-10). The Bombers also recorded consecutive Grey Cups victories for the third time but first time since 1961-62.
