The ICC World Twenty 20 also known as World T20, and normally T20 World Cup is organized by International Cricket Council (ICC). The ICC has the 16 member countries, 10 out of full members, 6 teams are associates members.


There are Eight World Twenty 20 (T20) tournaments held till now, England tieswith West indies for holding the most t20 world cup titles, 2-times each. There are 5 T20 world cup winners till now, India, Pakistan, England, West Indies, Sri Lanka, again West Indies.


The 1st T20 World Cup was held in 2007 in South Africa, where India won the Twenty20 World cup 2007 from Pakistan.


The First Twenty20 International match was played between Australia vs New Zealand on 17 Feb 2005 at Eden Park in Auckland, in which Australia won the match by 44 runs.


The highest individual score in T20 international match made by Aaron Finch, Australia is 156, Sri-Lankan Ajantha Mendis is the only bowler who got 6 wickets in 1 innings.

West Indies is the Two time ICC T20 World cup winners, 2012, 2016.

England joined West Indies for the most T20 World Cup winners in the list, with Two times (2010-2022).
