The 2026 World Snooker Championship will take place at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield from Saturday 18 April to Monday 4 May. The total prize fund for the tournament remains £2,395,000, making it comfortably the richest event on the World Snooker Tour.

Semi-finalists: £100,000 each  

Quarter-finalists: £50,000 each

Qualifying Round 4: £15,000 each  

Qualifying Round 3: £10,000 each

The champion will walk away with £500,000, while simply reaching the first round proper at the Crucible guarantees £20,000.
