WNBA Announces Record 216-Game National TV and Streaming Schedule for 2026 Season







The WNBA will make history in its 30th season with a record 216 regular-season games and events available on national television and streaming platforms, the league announced Wednesday.Games will air across an expanded group of broadcast and streaming partners including ABC/ESPN, CBS, Amazon Prime Video, ION, NBC, USA Network, and NBA TV.“The WNBA is coming off a landmark season in 2025, one that was defined by incredible basketball and countless memorable performances,” WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert said. “With an incredible 2026 draft and so many notable free agency signings and trades now giving way to the start of the season, the WNBA’s unprecedented lineup of linear and streaming partners will shine a light on must-see matchups, and the remarkable skills the WNBA’s stars provide each time they step on the court.”



2026 National Broadcast Breakdown:


ABC/ESPN: 30 games total, with 13 games (including the 2026 WNBA All-Star Game) on ABC. ESPN and ABC will feature a doubleheader on opening weekend.

CBS: 8 primetime games (up from 2 in 2025).

ION: More than 50 games, continuing its popular Friday night doubleheaders.

Amazon Prime Video: 31 games, including the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup Championship on June 30.

NBC: 7 games on Sundays, plus 12 games on Mondays via Peacock.

USA Network: 48 games on Mondays and Wednesdays.

NBA TV: 15 games.


NBC will also air the 2026 WNBA Finals, with games appearing on NBC or USA Network. Peacock will stream every game of the Finals.The expanded coverage reflects the league’s continued rapid growth in popularity following record viewership and attendance numbers in recent seasons. The Indiana Fever lead the way with all 44 of their regular-season games scheduled for national television.
