The 2026 AFL Premiership season (Toyota AFL Premiership Season) officially starts on Thursday, 5 March 2026, with the Opening Round featuring a standalone blockbuster: Sydney Swans vs. Carlton Blues at the SCG (kick-off 7:30 pm AEDT / local time).
