Where and when is the Miami Marathon 2026?


The 24th Annual Life Time Miami Marathon and Half Marathon will necessitate extensive road closures across Miami and Miami Beach this Sunday, January 25, 2026, with significant impacts expected in the Coconut Grove area.

The 26.2-mile course starts by heading north in front of the Kaseya Center and finishes at Bayfront Park.

The Miami Marathon will not be available to watch nationally.

However, for those in the Miami market, the race is typically covered by local news affiliates, including WPLG-10 (ABC), WFOR-TV (CBS), WTVJ (NBC) and WSVN (Fox). You can stream all three channels live on Fubo, which offers a free trial for all new users.


2026 Miami Marathon Route, Course Map Download


After the race begins runners will "proceed to Miami Beach via the Venetian Island up Dade Blvd., over the McArthur Causeway and as far south as Coconut Grove."

Participants will be off the course by 2 p.m., and some roads may open before then.

Road shutdowns starting 2:30 a.m. Sunday:

▪ Southeast First Street eastbound from North Miami Avenue to Biscayne Boulevard at 2:30 a.m.

​▪ MacArthur Causeway eastbound from Biscayne Boulevard to Alton Road and Fifth Street, 5 a.m. to 8:10 a.m.

▪ Northeast 15th Street westbound from Venetian Causeway to North Miami Avenue, 6:25 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.

​▪ North Miami Avenue southbound from Northeast 15th Street to Northwest First Avenue, 6:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.

▪ Northwest First Avenue and Northwest First Street/West Flagler westbound and southbound at North Miami Avenue/South Miami Avenue, 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
