The Nitto ATP Finals use a round-robin system — eight players or doubles teams split into two groups of four. Each plays three matches, and the top two from each group advance to the semi-finals, leading to the championship match.

How Players Qualify For 2025 Nitto ATP Finals?

Qualification is earned through performance across the ATP season.

  • The top seven players or teams in the ATP Race automatically qualify.

  • The eighth spot is reserved for any Grand Slam champion ranked between 8th and 20th.

  • If multiple players meet the criteria, the higher-ranked one gets the nod, and the next becomes the first alternate.
