Australian Summer Tennis Events 2026 Calendar: Schedule, Dates, Venues

Australian Summer Tennis Events 2026 Calendar: Full Schedule, Dates, Venues along with Australian Open.

The fourth edition of the United Cup marks the beginning of the 2026 tennis season – and the start of a thrilling summer of tennis in Australia in January.

The United Cup, in Perth and Sydney, is one of five events unfolding across the country. They set the stage for the Australian Open, the first Grand Slam event of 2026.

Playing out across the same dates is the Canberra International, a Challenger-level event on both tours featuring uniquely strong draws for a tournament of its category.

Last year, Brazilian phenom Joao Fonseca won the men’s title, foreshadowing a breakout result at the Australian Open where he stunned top-10 star Andrey Rublev in the first round.

These five events offer players valuable match-play and confidence ahead of the Australian Open, where main-draw action kicks off on Sunday 18 January at Melbourne Park.

Additional ITF tournaments, plus wheelchair and junior competitions, will also take place ahead of the Australian Open and during the month of January.
