Jannik Sinner delivered a stunning performance to defeat rival Carlos Alcaraz and capture the Six Kings Slam title in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The Italian star, who lost the world No.1 ranking to Alcaraz after the US Open, got his revenge with a dominant 6-2, 6-4 victory. With this win, the 24-year-old not only regained bragging rights but also walked away with a staggering $6 million, which included $4.5 million in prize money and a $1.5 million participation fee.

Sinner came out firing, breaking Alcaraz’s serve in the opening game and taking control of the match with powerful groundstrokes and precision serving. Alcaraz struggled to find his rhythm, while Sinner maintained relentless pressure throughout, sealing his second straight Six Kings Slam title after breaking again in the seventh game of the second set.

“This season, Carlos and I have faced each other many times, and I’ve lost quite a few,” Sinner said after the match. “It’s always an honour to share the court with him. Rivalries like ours push us both to become better players.”

The event featured six of the world’s top male players and was streamed globally on Netflix. Although it was an exhibition tournament and didn’t count toward official ATP rankings, the level of play was world-class.

Alcaraz, who reached the final by defeating Taylor Fritz, admitted Sinner was simply too strong on the night. “When Jannik plays like this, it’s really tough,” Alcaraz said. “But it motivates me to train harder and improve. He’s a great rival — and a great friend off the court.”

Earlier in the event, Sinner overpowered Novak Djokovic, who later withdrew from the third-place playoff against Fritz after losing the first set.

Together, Sinner and Alcaraz have now won nine of the last ten major titles, with their rivalry shaping up to be one of tennis’s most exciting storylines.
