The Ashes 2025-26 Fixtures: Every match Schedule for England vs Australia, Squads, Test Dates, Time How To Watch.
Cricket Australia has announced the dates for the 2025-26 men’s Ashes series, with England set to begin their quest to reclaim the urn in Perth from 21–25 November.
For the first time, the Optus Stadium—which opened in December 2017—will host an Ashes Test. Previously, all 13 Ashes matches in Perth were held at the WACA. Starting the series in Perth also marks the first time since 1982-83 that Australia will begin a home Ashes series away from the Gabba in Brisbane.
The Gabba will host the second Test from 4–8 December, featuring a day-night fixture with a pink ball, the first Ashes Test at the ground under floodlights. Australia has won 13 of their 22 Ashes Tests at the Gabba and remains unbeaten against England there in Tests since 1986.
England will then travel to the Adelaide Oval for the third Test from 17–21 December, followed by the traditional Boxing Day Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground from 26–30 December. The five-match series concludes at the Sydney Cricket Ground from 4–8 January.
Additionally, Australia will host England in the multi-format women’s Ashes in January and February 2025. The series winner will be determined using a points system across three ODIs, three T20Is, and a one-off Test.
