Ever since professional golf split into the PGA Tour and LIV Golf earlier this decade, the Masters has become the first major tournament each year where the world's best players from both tours compete against each other.That crossover always adds extra excitement to the traditional Thursday morning tee time announcement, and the 2026 lineup looks set to deliver another highly entertaining opening round.

Several marquee groups stand out for Thursday’s first round at Augusta National. In the morning, a strong featured group features Bryson DeChambeau and Xander Schauffele, both considered top contenders once again. Defending champion Rory McIlroy tees off two groups behind them alongside Cameron Young and promising amateur Mason Howell.The afternoon wave, however, is stacked. When national coverage begins, Jon Rahm will play with Ludvig Åberg, followed by the star-studded trio of Jordan Spieth, Justin Rose, and Brooks Koepka.
