But the odds for those 16 teams are very different.
The Colorado Avalanche have been the favorite to win the Stanley Cup for essentially the entire season.

The Avs, understandably, were not able to keep up that pace, and their odds to lift the cup have come back down to earth along with them.
Colorado is +300 to win the Stanley Cup at BetMGM Sportsbook, putting them just ahead of the Carolina Hurricanes and Tampa Bay Lightning at +500.
The Colorado Avalanche, who clinched the Presidents' Trophy with the league's best record, are at 300+ to win the Stanley Cup.
