The three-day Randox Grand National festival got underway on Thursday and will go on till Saturday, with more than 150,000 racegoers expected to take part in it. This mega event is estimated to boost the economy by nearly £60 million (nearly $79 million) and is expected to attract a TV audience of around 600 million worldwide, BBC reported.

The 2024 Grand National hero and 2025 runner‑up finds himself in familiar territory, heading the weights on 11st 12lb after the unveiling at the traditional Weights Lunch on February 17.

It is the second year in a row that I Am Maximus has been asked to concede weight to the entire field, underlining the regard in which his Aintree and Grade 1 form is held.
