MLB spring training schedule 2025: When are the opening games for every team?

The first live baseball of the 2025 MLB season have officially begun with the start of spring training games Thursday when the Chicago Cubs met the Los Angeles Dodgers in Arizona. The action really picks up as the weekend arrives, when the rest of Major League Baseball's 30 teams throw their first pitches and take their first at-bats of exhibition play.

The games are about to come quickly in the Grapefruit League in Florida and the Cactus League in Arizona, with preparations for Opening Day next month ramping up. There's plenty to catch up on after another eventful MLB offseason followed the Dodgers winning another World Series.
