The 75th annual NBA All-Star Weekend is just around the corner, scheduled to take place in the Los Angeles, Calif. The event will begin on February 13, 2026, and this year, the format of the NBA All-Star Game will change to a World style competition.

The Intuit, the iconic new home of the Los Angeles Clippers, will proudly host the prestigious event. This marks a significant return to the Los Angeles, as the All-Star weekend hasn't graced its location since 2018. Over three thrilling nights, the center will be the stage for a series of must-see events, including a Rising Stars game.




What is the new NBA All-Star format?


In a new U.S. vs. World format for the 2026 NBA All-Star Game, two teams of U.S. players and one team of international players (known as the World team) will compete in a round-robin tournament featuring four 12-minute games.  The three teams will each have a minimum of eight players.

Time: 5 p. m. ET / 2:00 PT

Venue: Intuit Dome, Los Angeles, Calif.

The 2026 NBA All-Star Game will tip-off at 5 p.m. ET on Sunday, Feb. 15. The game will be played at the Intuit Dome, the home of the Los Angeles Clippers.


2026 NBA All-Star Game TV schedule


As we mentioned earlier, the 2025 NBA All-Star Game will be played in the mini-tournament format. 2 teams will take part in the Four-game event. 

Team USA will meet Team World in the opening game. 

In the round-robin tournament, Team A will play Team B in Game 1.  The winning team from Game 1 will take on Team C in Game 2, followed by the losing team of Game 1 meeting Team C in Game 3.

After Game 3, the top two teams by record will advance to face each other in the championship game (Game 4).  If all three teams have a 1-1 record after Game 3, the tiebreaker would be point differential in each team’s two round-robin games.

Game 1: Team A vs Team B -  5:00 pm ET / 2:00 PT

Game 2: Winner Game 1 vs Team C - 5:55 pm ET / 2:55 PT

Game 3:  Losing Team A vs  Team C - 6:25 pm ET / 3:25 PT

Game 4:  Top 2 Teams:  Final Championship Game - 7:10 ET / 4:10 PT
