Some of the biggest names in college basketball will be in the Bahamas for the annual Battle 4 Atlantis tournament.

Since its launch in 2011, the Battle 4 Atlantis has drawn some of college basketball’s biggest brands, including UConn, North Carolina, Villanova, Wisconsin and Baylor. Oklahoma won last year’s title, while Villanova holds the event record with three championships. Harvard, in 2011, remains the only mid-major program to win the tournament.

One of college basketball’s premier Thanksgiving-week traditions returns Wednesday through Friday, as the Battle 4 Atlantis tips off its 14th edition inside the Imperial Arena at the Atlantis Resort. The event, long considered the sport’s top international early-season tournament, again features a deep and balanced field. This year, it is dominated by mid-major programs eager to make early statements.
