Rodri, Bonmati wins Ballon d'Or 2024, Results, Full Winners List

Ballon d'Or 2024 Results: Rodri win men's award, Bonmati claims title for 2nd time, Complete Winners List in Paris.





The 2024 Ballon d'Or nominees features the sport's biggest superstars, including Real Madrid's Vinícius Júnior, Manchester City's Rodri and Barcelona's Aitana Bonmatí, but only a select few can leave the Théâtre du Châtelet with an award. The Ballon d'Or trophy might headline the ceremony, but the Kopa Trophy, the Yashin Trophy and more are all prestigious honors that go to the sport's top players.



2024 men’s Ballon d’Or winner award goes to RODRI


Rodri wins the 2024 Ballon d’Or award for the best men’s player. He won the Euro 2024 tournament with Spain, where he was adjudged Player of the Tournament. He also won the Premier League last season with Manchester City for a record fourth time in a row.

Rodri scored the match-winning goal against Inter Milan in the 2023 Champions League final, which saw City clinch its first-ever UCL title.








Aitana Bonmati wins the 2024 Ballon d’Or award for best female player!

Barcelona Femeni’s Aitana Bonmati wins the 2024 Ballon d’Or award for best female player. It is her second consecutive award in this category. The Spaniard won four major titles with Barca last season, including the Liga F and the Women’s Champions League.


Carlo Ancelotti wins the 2024 men’s coach of the year award!

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti wins the 2024 men’s coach of the year award. The Italian won the La Liga, Champions League and the Spanish Super Cup with Real Madrid last season. However, he is not at the venue to receive the award after the entire Real Madrid contingent chose to boycott the ceremony. 


Emma Hayes wins the 2024 women’s coach of the year award!

United States Women’s National Team and former Chelsea head coach Emma Hayes win the 2024 Women’s Coach of the Year Award. From this year, coach awards will be known as the Johan Cruyff award in tribute to the legendary Dutch player and coach. She sent her message through a video as she couldn’t be in person at the Chatalet Theatre. She won Olympic gold with US Women’s team in Paris just a few months ago. 


Jenni Hermoso wins the 2024 Socrates Award!

Spain international Jenni Hermoso wins the 2024 Socrates Award at this year’s Ballon d’Or ceremony. 

Hermoso has been a big advocate for both the advancement of women’s football and against sexual harassment.


Emiliano Martinez wins the 2024 Yashin Trophy!

Argentina and Aston Villa’s Emiliano Martinez wins the 2024 Yashin Trophy at the 2024 Ballon d’Or ceremony. He won the 2024 Copa America trophy with Argentina and achieved Champions League qualification with Aston Villa for the 2024-25 season. 

He wins the Yashin trophy for the second time in his career. 


Harry Kane and Kylian Mbappe win 2024 Gerd Muller Trophy

Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane and Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappe win the 2024 Gerd Muller Trophy. 
Both finished the 2023-24 season with 52 goals. 

 Lamine Yamal wins the Kopa Trophy!


Barcelona and Spain forward Lamine Yamal wins the Raymond Kopa trophy for the best young player (U-21). The 17-year-old won the Euro 2024 title, scoring one goal and bagging four assists. 


Real Madrid wins men’s club of the year award!

Real Madrid win the men’s club of the year award at the 2024 Ballon d’Or ceremony. Last season, the Los Blancos won the La Liga, UEFA Champions League and the Spanish Super Cup. The club, however, has boycotted the ceremony this year reportedly over Vinicius Junior being being snubbed for the best men’s player award over Rodri. 


Barcelona wins the women’s club of the year award!

Barcelona Femeni wins the women’s club of the year award at the 2024 Ballon d’Or ceremony. It won the league title for the fifth consecutive season and for the ninth time overall. It also ended the league season unbeaten with 29 wins and only one draw. 

It also won the Women’s UEFA Champions League, Copa de la Reina and Supercopa de Espana Feminina.
