2024 Winner. Catherine Debrunner (SUI) -- 1:36:12 - Course Record

Susannah Scaroni, who took an early lead and never looked back, finished just off course record time with an unofficial finish of 1:38:12. With the course record She Win the women's wheelchair event in Chicago was one hour and 38 minutes.

Scaroni was battling a trio of past Chicago winners, including 2024 champ Catherine Debrunner, two-time victor Manuela Schär and nine-time winner Tatyana McFadden of the United States.

Jacob Kiplimo of Uganda won the Chicago Marathon after being under world record pace for about 22 miles, while Conner Mantz finished fourth with the fastest time ever run by an American.

Kiplimo clocked an unofficial 2 hours, 2 minutes, 23 seconds, distancing Kenyan Amos Kipruto by 91 seconds. He was under world record pace until about the 22nd mile, then lost two minutes in the last four-plus miles.
