The Two Biggest Sporting events on Aussies Land is AFL Grand Final and NRL grand finals have been played and won, which means it’s now time for the Motorsports event Bathurst 1000 in the Supercars Schedule.



After the AFL & NRL, the biggest race of the Supercars calendar is upon us and this year the Great Race returns to its traditional date in October after doubling as the season finale last year.



This year’s 2024 Bathurst race will mark the last-ever Holden v Ford Bathurst battle before the Supercars starts its new Gen3 era next year.

Shane van Gisbergen is the defending champions of Bathurst 1000 race.


When is the Bathurst 1000? 


The 2024 edition of the Bathurst 1000 will place between Thursday, October 10 and Sunday, October 13.

It remains in its traditional early-October slot for the third consecutive year following COVID-related disruptions.

The race will begin at 11:30 am AEDT on Sunday.

The Mount Panorama Circuit is a historic racing track located in Bathurst, New South Wales.

GA tickets are priced at $151 for adults, while four-day grandstand seats start from $346.

Every session of the Bathurst 1000 will be broadcast live on Fox Sports and Kayo Sports.

– The dedicated Bathurst 1000 channel will run from Monday October 10 to October 13 on Fox Sports 503.

Fox Sports will also cover the action, meaning fans can either tune in via Foxtel or stream live through Kayo Sports.
