Where can I watch Big 12 football games? What channel will they be on?

Big 12 football games in 2026 (including the regular season and championship) are broadcast across multiple networks under the conference's media rights deals with ESPN, FOX, and TNT Sports.  Major games, including many high-profile matchups and the championship game, air on ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, or ESPNU.
Other games appear on FOX, FS1 (Fox Sports 1), or TNT.

Specific channels for individual games are assigned closer to the season and depend on the matchup, week, and selection by the networks. Times and channels for early weeks are typically announced later, with some games potentially moving to Fridays or special dates.

How can I stream Big 12 football or watch without cable?

You can stream most Big 12 games without a traditional cable subscription through various platforms:  ESPN+ streams select games, especially those not on linear TV, and offers additional college football content.

Streaming services that carry the relevant channels (like ABC, ESPN networks, FOX, FS1, and TNT) include:

Hulu + Live TV

YouTube TV

Fubo (strong for sports, including ESPN, FOX, and more)

DIRECTV STREAM

Sling TV (with packages including ESPN, FOX, and TNT; consider add-ons for full coverage)

The ESPN Unlimited bundle (or similar ESPN streaming plans) provides access to ESPN networks and ESPN+ content.

FOX One (FOX's direct-to-consumer service) streams FOX, FS1, and related channels. Bundles like ESPN + FOX One may be available for broader access.
Some games may stream on Max (for TNT broadcasts) or other partner platforms.

How can I watch Big 12 football for free?

If you have an over-the-air antenna that picks up your local channels, you can watch games on FOX or ABC for free.
