The field has been narrowed to eight teams in the 2026 NCAA Women's Tournament, and the Elite Eight is set to determine the Final Four.On Sunday, two No. 1 seeds will look to advance when UConn faces upset-minded No. 6 Notre Dame and UCLA takes on No. 3 Duke.

The remaining two Elite Eight games will be played on Monday night, with No. 1 Texas facing No. 2 Michigan and No. 1 South Carolina meeting No. 3 TCU.All four No. 1 seeds remain unbeaten in the tournament so far. While there have been some notable upsets — including Michigan as the only No. 2 seed left, Notre Dame pulling off two upsets, and 10th-seeded Virginia reaching the Sweet 16 — the top seeds have dominated, with UCLA’s 19-point win over Oklahoma State standing as the closest margin among them.

Interestingly, UConn, UCLA, Texas, and South Carolina all reached the Final Four last season and are hoping to repeat that feat this year in Phoenix.
